摘要: Using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in the study of metabolism has been immensely popular medical- and health-related research but yet to be widely applied more fundamental biological problems. This review provides some NMR background relevant metabolism, describes why 1H spectra are complex as well introducing terminology definitions. The applications practical considerations metabolic profiling 13C NMR-based flux analyses discussed together with elegant 'enzyme trap' approach for identifying novel pathway intermediates. importance sample preparation data analysis also described explained reference precision multivariate introduce researchers unfamiliar consider this technique their interests. Finally, a brief glance into future suggests room expand 21st century through new isotope labels, technologies methodologies.
