摘要: The central distribution of afferents that innervate the crista ampullaris anterior or lateral semicircular canals was determined in gerbils following direct injection tracers into one sensory neuroepithelia. Labeled somata were scattered throughout superior ganglion. fibers demonstrated extensive overlap. branch innervating either canal located rostral part nerve. Nerve divided ascending and descending branches. Ascending ramifications terminated vestibular nucleus, magnocellular parvicellular medial nuclei, cerebellum. Cerebellar terminal areas include flocculus, nodulus uvula. Descending caudal medial, nucleus prepositus hypoglossi. Lateral sparsely cuneatus. had sparse innervation paratrigeminal gigantocellular reticular formation. This study has shown many similarities a few segregated input. Projections outside nuclei are more than previously determined, including to hypoglossi, cochlear flocculus appear as numerous those vermis.
