摘要: In this study, we evaluated whether taurine treatment has a protective effect on the prooxidant-antioxidant state following chronic ethanol in rats. Rats were given water containing 20% (v/v) as drinking for 3 months. Chronic resulted increased oxidative stress liver of Taurine was performed by adding 1% (w/v) to plus injection (400 mg/kg body weight) intraperitoneally times/week 28 d after cessation chronically ethanol-treatad This starting caused significant decreases serum transaminase activities and hepatic total lipid, triglyceride, malondialdehyde, diene conjugate levels increases glutathione, vitamin E, C levels, but did not alter superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, transferase compared with ethanol-treated Accordingly, propose that restorative ethanol-induced damage decreasing stres.
