摘要: In aquarium experiments common invertebrates from streams and ponds were offered to O-group grass carp, Ctenopharyngodon idella (Val.) in the presence of palatable plants. When there was no cover for prey hide under, carp ate many invertebrates, but when stones provided, considerably more escaped. Rainbow trout eggs not eaten, fry taken as soon they had emerged artificial spawning redds. While searching food, never disturbed covering possible food organisms.
