The financial crisis in discourse : banks, financial markets and political responses

摘要: The financial crisis led to an enormous economic downturn as well dramatic increases in unemployment, insolvencies and public debt. Simultaneously, it revealed fundamental weaknesses of the current functioning markets, if not global relations such. Why, then, has a more questioning politico-economic system broader political change? In this paper, we aim find answer question by analyzing construction German discourse. We show that is characterized drama perplexity, normative incoherence, lack access for alternatives. These findings, turn, provide important basis understanding handling Germany.
