摘要: This study aimed to investigate whether the addition of fucoidan (Yakult Fucoidan) prepared from Cladosiphon okamuranus Tokida food affects availability divalent minerals for intestinal absorption. After coadministration with a test meal into dynamic multicompartmental model upper gastrointestinal tract (TIM-1), absorption (bioaccessibility) was evaluated. Fucoidan (0.033 and 0.1 g, corresponding approximately 1.7 5.0 mg/kg body weight (BW) in humans) or two alginates (Cargill AlgogelTM SatialgineTM, 3.0 150 BW suspended 200 g water added 100 did not significantly decrease bioaccessibility calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, cobalt comparison without these gelling agents, except calcium by Satialgine (p < 0.05). Positive control experiments an unrealistically high dosage (3.0 g) decreased manganese enhanced copper It is concluded that oral intake tested at standard dosages has no adverse effect on mineral Based TIM-1 validation studies metals human studies, it expected results may be extrapolated situation.
