摘要: G12 rotavirus has not been detected anywhere in the world since first detection of a human strain, L26 (G12, P1B[4]), Philippines 1990. In this study, we isolated (strain T152) with VP7 specificity from stool an 11-month-old diarrheic patient Thailand. The strain T152 exhibited long RNA pattern and subgroup I specificity. comparison nucleotide amino acid sequences gene those rotaviruses different G type specificities, showed highest identity, 90.9 93.9%, respectively, to prototype L26. contrast, VP4 identity P[9] strains K8 AU-1 feline Cat2 FRV-1, homologies 89.3 90.6% at level 93.9 95.6% level. Thus, was found be natural reassortant specificities.
