摘要: The author proposes a personal assessment of the progress in gaseous electronics and its impact on development diagnostics insulating systems. scope discussion is delimited by major preoccupations experienced utility company over last 20 years. These concerns shaped research activities that pertained to selection safe long-term use high-voltage gas-insulated equipments distribution transmission networks. commentary developed along author’s own scientific work during period 1980–2000. Fleeceb thread has been woven following four topics: collisional processes electron swarms under uniform fields, avalanches nonuniform-field conditions, gas breakdown phenomena, partial discharges.
