摘要: Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship body mass index with overall and progression-free survival as well other prognostic factors breast cancer in patients non-metastatic cancer. Materials Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 456 diagnosed Radiation Oncology department Kayseri Teaching Hospital between 2005 2013. investigated prognosis factors. Results: included (447 women 9 men). Mean age at presentation 55.6 years. Of cases, 96.9% underwent modified radical mastectomy 95.0% received chemotherapy, while 82.4% radiotherapy 60.0% were given hormone therapy. Body >25 mg/kg 2 343 cases. Five- 10-years rates 77% 58% whereas 65% 49%, respectively. In univariate analyses, including stage (p=0.046), tumor diameter (p=0.001), lymph node metastasis (p=0.006) (p=0.030) found be significantly associated survival, perinodal involvement (p=0.018). multivariate analysis, (p=0.032; OR: 3.8; 95% CI: 1.1-13), (p<0.000; 0.0; 0.0-0.3), (p=0.005; 0.0-0.5) BMI (p=0.027; 0.02; 0.0-0.8) remained OS. Conclusions: our study, it seen that time shorter underweight obese when compared normal weight patients.
