University–industry interaction on cleaner production. The case of the Cleaner Production Center at the University of Cienfuegos in Cuba, a country in transition

摘要: Abstract Universities are key stakeholders in teaching, researching and supporting the implementation of cleaner production activities. This case study discusses experience establishing operating Cleaner Production Center at University Cienfuegos (Cuba). Establishing, starting-up running center during its first four years activity was supported by two projects targeted to inter-university cooperation. The collaboration allowed establish a master program on which acts as bridge between university, industry services sector province Cienfuegos.
