摘要: Gliomas are a heterogeneous disease both under clinical and pathological point of view. The differential expression genotypic metabolic alterations presents regional distribution within the tumor mass. Even coexistence different subpopulations cancer cells, differing in their sensitivity to apoptosis, autophagy chemotherapy, has been proved gliomas. Metabolic important since they confer adaptive, proliferative, survival advantages on glioma cells. Thereby, reprogramming provides substrates for biosynthetic pathway, induces apoptosis resistance. oxygen determines differences between regions. Glioma cells located at periphery have higher proliferative capacity, which is accompanied by greater respiration mitochondrial oxidative capacity compared center tumor; such could be related degree hypoxia or stress regions tumor. Regional diagnostic therapeutic implications, hinder prediction tumor’s biologic aggressiveness patient’s response standard treatment.
