摘要: Despite a declining incidence of new cases, prostate cancer remains the most common solid organ malignancy in American men (Landis et al. 1998). In 1998, approximately 184 500 cases are predicted, accounting for 29% all male cancers. Moreover, will account 39 200 deaths 1998. This comprise 13% men, second only to lung Curative measures include radical prostatectomy and radiation therapy; however, patients with locoregional and/or distant spread disease cannot be cured. Following prostatectomy, positive surgical margins, seminal vesicle involvement lymph nodes at increased risk recurrence shortened survival (Rosen 1992). From 70% who undergo prostatec—tomy clinically understaged postoperatively found have tumor extension outside (Ohori 1995; Paulson 1994; Trapasso Walsh Zeitman Zincke 1994).
