Voles from an established colony maintained at 22 degrees C with 14:10 hours light:dark were transferred 50 days age 12:12, 14:10, 16:8 or 18:6 light:dark. From Day 96 102, 9--10 females per treatment group paired male. Body and gonadal weights, spermatogenesis, ovarian activity pregnancy evaluated on 110. Reproductive function body weight both male female exceeded (p less than 0.05) values exposed 12:12 tended be more favorable groups.
