摘要: The bony biochemical environment is an active and dynamic system that permits promotes cellular functions lead to matrix production ossification. Each component capable of conveying important regulatory cues nearby cells, thus effecting gene expression changes at the cytostructural level. Here, we review various signaling molecules contribute nature system. These components include hormones, cytokines, growth factors. We describe their role in regulating bone metabolism. Certain factors (i.e., TGF-beta, IGF-1, VEGF) are described greater detail because potential importance developing successful tissue-engineering strategies.
