The effects of work and relational mental incongruity on identity formation and well-being

摘要: Abstract By combining concepts of Tazelaar's mental incongruity theory (1983) and Marcia's identity model (1993) we tried to uncover some theoretical mechanisms that may underlie progressive developmental trends in status. Mental is what people experience when there a discrepancy between how they think situation should be (the standard) the actual or their own behaviour cognition). In both work relational domain, influence adolescents' standards on development was studied. means structural equation modelling, tested hypotheses representative sample Dutch working adolescents, aged 16 24 (n=706).
