摘要: Abstract It has been recently demonstrated that some nitrosyl hemoglobin derivatives have different optical spectrum according to the nature of their quaternary structure (Cassoly, R. (1974) C. Seances Acad. Sci., Paris 278, 1417-1420; Salhany, J. M., Ogawa, S., and Shulman, G. Proc. Natl, Sci. U.S.A. 71, 3359-3362; Cassoly, (1975) Mol. Biol. 98, 581-595). This property used in order detect presence asymmetrical hybrids alphaNObetaNOalpha'O2beta'O2 a mixture two hemoglobins alpha2NObeta2NO alpha2'O2beta2'O2. When one changes, by deoxygenation, conformation hybrid, there is characteristic modification subunits. Quantitative analysis this phenomenon shows alphaNObetaNOalphadeoxybetadeoxy symmetrical alpha2NObeta2deoxy distinct properties. The structure-linked transition rate amplitude; it faster larger for molecule. Carbon monoxide binding kinetics performed absence phosphate also indicated allosteric equilibrium more displaced favor T state comparison with deoxygenated intermediates.
