摘要: Abstract Diuretic drugs, when used in the treatment of hypertension, cause an increase serum concentration total cholesterol and sometimes triglyceride. High density lipoprotein (HDL) remains stable with thiazide-type diuretic drugs. Treatment furosemide, spironolactone, reserpine, methyldopa does not affect or triglyceride concentrations. However, decreases HDL cholesterol, furosemide increases ratio to cholesterol. When methyldopa, beta-blocking drugs are added therapy, decreases. The mechanism lipid-lipoprotein alterations is unknown, but changes correlate glycohemoglobin glucose noted during diuretic-based therapy. caused by some antihypertensive agents counterbalance benefits on development coronary heart disease (CHD) expected from control blood pressure. Thus, regimens a more favorable influence lipids may be crucial better CHD. In quest for such regimens, our data suggest that therapy which disturb metabolism likely free lipid effect, and, therefore, would qualify as preferred hypertension.
