摘要: The objective of the present study was to compare primary and secondary stability tissue-level short dental titanium implants with polished necks hydrophilic surfaces two different designs manufacturers. first implant system used (SPI®ELEMENT RC INICELL implants, Thommen Medical AG, Grenchen, Switzerland), allowed functional loading 6 weeks after its placement, whereas second (RN SLActiv® Straumann GmbH, Fribourg, Germany), loaded 15 weeks. degree determined using an Osstell ISQ measuring device. Marginal bone loss (MBL) evaluated radiographically 12 24 implantation Wachtel's healing index as well patient's satisfaction treatment registered on a VAS scale. intergroup comparison revealed significant differences in terms MBL 3 months procedure, but no could be found for stability. significantly higher Thommen® compared Straumann® implants. Insertion conditioned surface shortens patient time.
