摘要: A series of well-defined diblock copolymers consisting 2-(N-carbazolyl)ethyl methacrylate (CbzEMA) and 2,2,3,3,4,4,4-heptafluorobutyl (HFBMA) (CbzEMAx-b-HFBMAy) was synthesized by Reversible Addition-Fragmentation chain Transfer (RAFT) polymerization. All polymers were characterized in terms molecular weights, weight distributions chemical compositions using Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy, respectively. The thermal properties (glass transition decomposition temperatures) the CbzEMAx HFBMAx homopolymers CbzEMAx-b-HFBMAy determined Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA). As demonstrated photoluminescence measurements, immobilization dithioester-ended functionalized chains onto Au-coated silicon surfaces has been accomplished via anchoring sulfur-containing end-groups Au surfaces. presence low-surface energy fluorinated block, combined with electro-active carbazole-containing segment within imparts to these immobilized thin layers useful towards their potential applicability gas sensing technologies.
