摘要: In the past few decades, many efforts have been carried out to investigate and improve cyclic performance of precast structure joints using high-strength steel bars plates. However, utilization high-damping rubber (HDR) is mainly limited as bearing pad below structural components dissipate energy. Hence, a new hook-end connection beam–column joint embedded with U-shaped HDR developed in this study energy dissipation capacity equivalent viscous damping ratio frame. The horizontal experimentally tested, numerically analyzed, evaluated by comparing reinforced concrete frame specimens built monolithic conventional pinned dowel connections. experimental results showed that newly exhibited fatter hysteretic curves, approximately 15% 13% higher cumulative capacity, than control specimen connection, respectively. Besides, it also attained similar yield force 6% lower maximum compared specimen. force–displacement backbone curves obtained from numerical analysis satisfactory matching force, displacement when results.
