A search for two neutrino and neutrinoless double beta decay of 136Xe in the Gran Sasso underground laboratory

摘要: Abstract We have searched for two neutrino and neutrinoless double beta decay of 136 Xe with a multicell proportional counter in the Gran Sasso underground laboratory. The search channel has been based on comparison spectra obtained runs natural enriched xenon which had specifically cleaned an ultracentrifuge. Special dedicated carried out various gases to evaluate background from rate α-particles. No evidence found or decay. corresponding lower limits lifetime are evaluated new statistical procedure.
