EDCircles: Real-time circle detection by Edge Drawing (ED)

摘要: We propose a real-time, parameter-free circle detection algorithm that produces accurate results with very few false positives. The makes use of the contiguous (connected) set edge segments produced by our novel segment detector, Edge Drawing (ED) algorithm; hence name EDCircles. proposed first fits line to ED's and then processes these detect circles in given image. show through experimentation EDCircles works good results, is suitable for next generation real-time automation applications including automatic inspection manufactured products, human eye iris pupil detection, circular traffic sign etc.
