摘要: In the past measurements of OClO have been used to determine degree chlorine activation in Arctic and Antarctic lower stratospheres. this study we carried out box model calculations investigate behaviour concentrations at 50hPa for cold denoxified conditions, typical polar winter. The dependence abundance on ClO{sub x} (ClO + 2Cl{sub 2}O{sub 2}) BrO{sub (BrO BrCl), as well sensitivity nitrogen species, latitude temperature is investigated. net production from reaction ClO BrO {yields} Br, major source OClO, found be first order values 0 22 pptv, whereas it becomes psuedo zero greater than {approx}400 pptv. This due rate which tied up BrCl sunset. insensitivity concentration high levels makes a poor indicator distinguishing between medium ClO. only qualitiatively good but quantitative BrO.
