摘要: Abstract The extrusion of the coil complex outside aneurysmal dome is thought to be an important mechanism by which aneurysm neck and fundus recanalize, but migration loops their incorporation inside vital nervous structures has not been clearly described. We reviewed medical literature on report a rare case third nerve palsy due direct damage caused loop that resolved after surgery. A 25-year-old woman presented with subarachnoid hemorrhage painful left palsy. angiogram revealed supraclinoid internal carotid incorporating origin posterior communicating artery. Her was coiled. 8 month follow-up major recurrence her aneurysm. It decided surgically clip At surgery, were found in space embedded into nerve. 1 month she had recovered well, only very subtle diplopia upon fatigue. Coil fairly common phenomenon should suspected instances recurrence. Surgical treatment recommended, special care taken when mobilizing extruded mass.
