摘要: Waveguide optoelectronics, by definition, implies the availability and exploitation of refractive index difference. Accordingly, this introductory chapter on materials for waveguide optoelectronics is concerned both with describing analysing factors which contribute to various ways in may be modified order form waveguides or changed after formation.
