摘要: Method and apparatus for unified messaging is described. More particularly, a visual or audible indication provided to served party that one more messages are waiting on network based centralized mail accumulation system. These may be voicemail, e-mail, fax mail, data video videoconference picture the like, including without limitation any combination thereof. This notification accomplished in part through use of an application running system adjunct computer serving multiple systems. operatively coupled customer premises' equipment message indicator device. coupling achieved using telephone wiring.
