摘要: Abstract Cr2+:ZnS is an important mid-infrared laser material, and nanopowders are very for the fabrication of transparent ceramics. In this paper, were synthesized via a hydrothermal method, in which thioacetamide (TAA) was adopted as sulfur source reducing agent to avoid oxidation Cr2+ ions. The influences time [Zn2+]/[TAA] ratio on morphology particle size investigated systematically well reaction mechanism. It believed that orientated attachment Oswald ripening both occurred during reaction, resulted formation bimodal distribution. After calcination under Ar/H2 atmosphere, ions successfully doped into Zn2+ lattice sites, supported by X-ray powder diffraction patterns, absorption photoluminescence spectra products. optical properties similar with those samples obtained thermal diffusion, means they have potential application
