摘要: Thermal induced cracks and the tensile strength variation of Eibenstock granite subjected to high-speed heating have been studied through lab testing. The Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technique was used for analysing behaviour at rate different temperatures. For samples heated 800 °C with rates 200 °C/min 300 °C/min, thermal-induced macrocracks become visible naked eyes, while no obvious are observed on according ISO 834 curve. Compared influence temperature, selected only a negligible impact axial displacement. DIC analysis shows crack initiation progressive propagation before main is formed failure. up 400 °C, show less brittle fracture behaviour, greatly reduced. final failure patterns prove that scenarios lead microcrack structures consequently mode macroscopic scale.
