摘要: Journal of Environmental Hydrology Volume 15 Paper 14 May 2007 1 The feasibility flushing sediment from the Mosul Reservoir located in northern Iraq was examined. Many current criteria and indices for checking efficiency reservoirs have been reviewed by analyzing large amounts data many flushed reservoirs, these tested applied to Reservoir. These depend mainly on hydrological, hydraulic, topographic properties addition their operation plan. main successful this reservoir are balance ratio (SBR), long term capacity Ratio (LTCR), draw down (DDR), shape (L/W), hydraulic conditions such as percentages Qf/Qin Vf/Vin. There is no verification other width (FWR), inflow (C/I) potential (SP). results agree with requirements indicate that feasible a certain degree, can be future conserve water storage capacity.
