摘要: Publisher Summary The electrophoretic techniques used in this laboratory to study histones are variations and combinations of three methods. first is electrophoresis acetic acid-urea gels, which separates molecules, a large extent, on the basis charge. This method allows separation modified unmodified forms also partial various subtypes H 1 their phosphorylated forms. second technique Triton-acetic (TAU) gels separate H2A, H2B, H3 third containing sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), principally mass and, one or two instances, certain from other parent molecule presumably because these phosphorylations affect conformation protein. Although by any methods alone often for particular purposes, resolution all histories found cells tissues requires dimensions, with without Triton ×-100, SDS gels.
