摘要: Lanthanide-containing hybrid materials have garnered significant interest due to their rich structural diversity and proven particularly attractive for a wide array of applications including gas storage, heterogeneous catalysis, magnetism, luminescence, bioanalyses. Herein, we explore both polymeric molecular lanthanide with specific focus on covalent noncovalent means assembly. Challenges remain these regarding control over Ln3 + nuclearity the resulting secondary building units in hydro/solvothermally synthesized systems subsequently delineation structure/property relationships manifestations thereof remains ripe exploration. After general introduction materials, this chapter takes deeper look at structures properties Ln hybrids featuring aliphatic aromatic carboxylic acid linkers, phosphonate linkers accompanied by chelating N-donor ligands, finally materials. Where possible, trends common are highlighted section, detailed assembly via interactions (i.e., hydrogen halogen bonding) is provided. This concludes where field crystalline will go next new synthesis techniques optimization enhanced understanding material properties.
