摘要: Abstract : The research program under designation SEED MM1593, funded by SERDP in a period of one year (03/01/2007 - 02/29/2008) has yielded positive results which can be briefly described as: 1. Successful development ferromagnetic nanocontact material (metal-metal oxide/hydroxide) for magnetic based field sensor fabrication, 2. Development and integration electrodeposition, e-beam lithography reactive ion etching processes necessary fabrication devices having the critical dimensions ~30-40 nm (nanocontact diameter). 3. Fabrication testing 50+ prototype with an average value magnetoresistance ~32%, measured at room temperature. 4. immediate produced during this have been published two peer reviewed journal publications presented 2007 workshop Washington DC. An additional publication indirect relevance to as result broader collaboration other researchers ECE department, University Houston. novel device well facile concept clearly demonstrated cost effective route transformative sensing underground munitions detection applications. new could great potential further improvement US army systems.
