摘要: Abstract A series of intercalates was obtained by adsorption protonated polyoxyalkylene monoamines (Jeffamines M-600, M-1000 and M-2005) on a synthetic Li-fluorotaeniolite (Li-TN). The amounts Jeffamines varied in the range 0.25–10.0 CEC Li-TN. samples were investigated elemental analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD). maximum organic cations bound to Li-TN exchange sites, calculated from C N contents, 23.8–76.2% SEM images testified that surface morphology starting mica markedly changed after its treatment with Jeffamines. XRD patterns organo-TNs washed water unwashed indicated amines adsorbed TN as result both cation non-ionic interactions. basal spacings between ~ 13 ~ 130 A. also easily intercalated unprotonated water–ethanol solution. These results revealed cationic forms controlled mainly oxyalkylene segments their chains.
