摘要: This paper presents the results of a research concerning available historical information about natural hazards (landslides and floods) consequent disasters in Consortium Mountain Municipalities Valtellina di Tirano, Northern Italy. A geo-referenced database, collecting till 2008, was designed with aim using data events for hazard estimation definition risk scenarios as basis Civil Protection planning emergency management purposes. database related statistics landslides floods are shown, brief overview caused by study area is presented. case showing how useful can be to define simple but realistic scenario described. Information availability reliability discussed possible uncertainties underlined. The shows that making use hypothetical evaluation territorial threats fundamental source knowledge deal future emergencies.
