摘要: Introduction: JET-Fresh™ (Dentsply International, York, PA), a new airpolishing powder that contains aluminum trihydroxide as the abrasive agent, has been introduced for use with Prophy-Jet™ International). Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate surface effects on series restorative materials. Materials and Methods: A total 6 Class V preparations enamel margins were created buccal extracted human molars. restored Type III gold, high copper spherical alloy amalgam, porcelain, light-activated hybrid composite material, microfilled light-activated, resin-modified glass ionomer material. distal half each restoration covered fiberglass tape mesial subjected treatment via 5 seconds. After removal protective tape, treated tooth replicated impression Replicas generated using epoxy resin prepared evaluation scanning electron microscopy. Results: produced alterations apparent visually when viewed by microscope composites restorations. surfaces amalgam gold restorations altered, but not extent resin-based materials were. No disruption characterization porcelain detected; however, materials, removed notable amounts luting cements (the results are consistent data gathered sodium bicarbonate powder). Conclusion: Aluminum agent in an system should be avoided composites, around cemented
