摘要: The objectives of this study were to evaluate the reliability and accuracy a new impedance cardiograph device, Physio Flow, at rest during steady-state dynamic leg exercise (work intensity ranging from 10 50 W) performed in supine position. We compared cardiac output determined simultaneously by two methods, Flow (Q˙cPF) direct Fick (Q˙cFick) methods. Forty patients referred for right catheterisation, 14 with sleep apnoea syndrome 26 chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, took part study. subjects' oxygen consumption values ranged 0.14 1.19 l · min−1. mean difference between methods (Q˙cFick−Q˙cPF) was 0.04 min−1 0.29 exercise. limits agreement, defined as ± 2SD, −1.34, +1.41 −2.34, +2.92 exceeded 20% only 2.5% cases rest, 9.3% Thoracic hyperinflation did not alter Q˙cPF. conclude that provides clinically acceptable non-invasive evaluation under these conditions. This device deserves further using other populations situations.
