摘要: This paper investigates the links between migration and ecological change by focusing on environmentally-displaced populations. The discussion is based a case study from Usangu Plains, Tanzania, receiving area for displaced herders cultivators elsewhere in Tanzania. I focus two of these groups—the Nyakyusa Sukuma—in analyzing causes consequences rural–rural migration. spread cash crop production, leading to degradation resource scarcity, was key factor underlying displacement both locations. emphasize social cultural variables influencing use management assessing impact Plains.
