摘要: Abstract Removal of Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Pb(II) complexes with IDS (iminodisuccinic acid) EDDS (ethylenediaminedisuccinic from the synthetic aqueous solutions through adsorption on chitosan (CS) under batch equilibrium experimental conditions at different phase contact time (1–120 min), pH values (1–12), temperatures (20–50 °C) has been investigated. The effect CS modification by preparing bead cross-linked glutaraldehyde epichlorhydrin was also tested. appropriate model proposed for better understanding mechanism CS. For this aim Langmiur, Freundlich, Temkin Dubinin–Radushkevich (D–R) models were used. parameters in adopted isotherm discussed detail. study shows that best analysis data is Langmuir model, which agreement high correlation coefficients ( R 2 ). results showed increasing temperature, ability decreases. maximum Cu(II) presence determined as dose 0.2 g, pH = 2–3, t 1 h T 20 °C. thermodynamic constants such Δ H ° S calculated. negative value Gibbs free energy G demonstrates spontaneous nature studied ions IDS. obtained pseudo second-order more suitable to describe sorption kinetics
