(2020) raise several issues concerning the chronostratigraphic interpretations in our recent paper on fluvial and archaeological deposits of Lower Mino River (Mendez-Quintas al., 2020). Here we respond to these criticisms, reinforcing key findings study questioning validity their arguments. We find that concerns are based a series poorly founded assumptions generalisations, invalid comparisons, inappropriate data analyses.
