摘要: Background: Supraclavicular fossa masses have usually been malignant lesions. When fine needle aspiration biopsy results not satisfactory excisional of supraclavicular lymphadenopathy would be mandatory. Methods: In this study we investigated 18 patients who had region metastasis from infraclavicular primary sites. Results: Distant metastatic sites were mostly lung in origin. Other breast, prostate, pancreas, cervix, urothelial, gastric carcinoma and pleural mesothelioma. All our except the one with mesothelioma died within year after diagnosis due to disseminated disease. Conclusions: neck should evaluated carefully, since they Lung has most common origin site. Early critical because indicates poor prognosis decreased survival. Excisional performed promptly when was diagnostic.
