摘要: Bacterial pathogens interact with their hosts in a multitude of ways order to persist, survive and multiply. The molecular signals triggered by these interactions, ultimately determines the fate microbe consequences host. interaction between its host often depends on presentation adhesins microbial surface. Adhesins are assembled into hair-like fibers called pili (Fig. 1). bind stereochemical specificity receptors, thus targeting bacteria defined niche within environment. For example, facilitate intimate contact eukaryotic cells resulting colonization cell surface, or invasion gain access nutritionally rich environment allowing evasion defenses. In host-pathogen interactions activate cascade events that will determine whether remain extracellular trigger processes allow uptake and/or activation defense mechanisms.
