摘要: Manganese emission from pyrometallurgical furnaces is becoming an important issue with more and stringent environmental restrictions on hazardous air pollutant (HAP) metals across the globe. going to become next in focus 2016 onward. Mn steelmaking or ferromanganese mainly depend factors such as input load, gas flow rate, blowing practice, finally operating conditions of dust capture systems which control particulate matter emissions. In present study, several mechanisms formation have been reviewed, a manganese mass balance was performed understand distribution between liquid metal, slag, for few BOFs operation. Operational parameters oxygen time, hot metal (HM) content, scrap end blow Mn%, electrostatic precipitator (ESP) were considered correlated plant measurements emission. Issues related emissions EAFs, furnaces, high-Mn steels discussed well.
