摘要: Abstract The inclusion complex of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and dialkyl pentasulfide (DPS), in which DPS was incorporated into β-CD cavities, prepared by a co-precipitation method. tribological properties the used as lubricant additive PEG 600 aqueous solution were investigated four-ball tester. exhibited better than under different loads, also showed anti-friction performance latter half test duration. action mechanism on steel surface studied according to X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analyses. molecules complexes decomposed various molecular fragments released friction condition. It revealed that thiolate ferrous sulfide (FeS) films formed played major role, iron alkoxide carbon deposition mainly property FeS-to-FeS interface. interactions among led formation mixed boundary lubrication film.
