摘要: An upwind line relaxation algorithm for the Navier-Stokes equations which employs inner iterations is applied to a supersonic and subsonic test problem. The purpose of using accelerate convergence steady-state solutions, thereby reducing overall CPU time. A criterion developed assist in automating iterative procedure. ability procedure mimic quadratic direct solver method confirmed both problems, but some non-quadratic results were more efficient than results. In case, use was very residual machine zero. For this problem, iteration required only about 65% time by most without iterations. poor matrix conditioning forced under-relaxation order obtain iterations, resulting an less methods employ conventional savings strategy. 23 refs., 9 figs.
