摘要: Since its inception, the so-called surrogate-reaction method (SRM) has motivated development and improvement of theories in connection to direct reactions. This paper reassesses some developments carried out previous decades deal with representation reaction probability data. It is believed that experimental probabilities assimilation neutron cross section evaluation process can be better estimated using tools resulting from efforts made over years. provides a new perspective on this issue both terms fission $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray emission probabilities. In addition ``natural'' path considers analyzing jointly sections extract nuclei structural properties, article puts forward prescription convert, good level confidence, measured direct-reaction induced pseudoexperimental neutron-induced sections. approach named after SRM as extended (ESRM).
