摘要: The purpose of sustainable development is to minimize the likelihood dynamic natural and/or man-made systems exceed tipping points, when exposed disturbances. In effect, are protected from losing identity and integrity. authors this paper suggest accepting resilience thinking as a basis setting sustainability goals reaching respective targets. theory provides method needed maintain integrity, manage system´s dynamics. Of concern three interwoven systems: environment, society economy, forming complex super-system coined eco-social triad. Sustainable triad applies each sub-systems despite conflicting interests various actors within each. Resilience expressed by ability or respond dynamically changes ambient conditions with aim retain their inherent function, structure feedbacks. To such associated disturbances repetitive sequence processes (also called adaptive cycle) needs be executed. ecosystems these cycles self-regulated characterized recycling materials energy. dominated humans phases re-evaluation, re-orientation re-commencement. concept management embedded in considered promising satisfy reach targets.
