摘要: Abstract Four tetradentate nitrogen donor ligands have been prepared by condensation of N-hydroxymethylpyrazoles with ethylenediamines. These are varied methylation the pyrazole rings (edbd) or aminonitrogens (debp), both (debd). Copper(II) complexes type CuL(ClO4)2 isolated L = debp, edbp, edbd. For debd, adducts salts Cu(debd)(dMp)X2, X ClO4−, BF4− and dMp 3,5-dimethylpyrazole, were obtained. The compounds characterized their absorption (d-d) EPR spectra. All four undergo quasi-reversible electrochemical reduction in methanol, redox potentials being correlated degree ligand methylation. copper(I) forms relatively unstable, also bind carbon monoxide different affinities.
