摘要: In this work we investigate the effect of gamma and ultraviolet radiations on thermoluminescence Brazilian calcite. The irradiated samples presented three TL peaks at 150, 245 320 o C (at a linear heating rate 1.8 C/s), with main emission band centered 615nm due to 4 G! 6 S transition Mn 2+ . sam- ples presented, besides signals, lines related carbonate groups. thermal treatment irradiation effects ESR signal lead conclusion that (CO3) 3 , stabilized in two different symmetries, (CO2) ions are electron trapping centers. It was found follows t 1 decay as function UV illumination time. An alternative model for calcite is discussed, considering recombination charges processed via thermally assisted tunnelling mech- anism.
