摘要: Despite numerous groundbreaking advances in the field, cardiovascular disease remains leading cause of mortality United States, accounting for more than 787,000 deaths per year. Already world capita healthcare expenditure, U.S. medical costs related to are projected triple by 2030, over $800 billion annually. The community's traditional disproportionate focus on treating disease, relative promoting health, is an important contributor these expenses. To ensure continued reductions burden as well overall sustainability system, a paradigm shift that places emphasis health promotion throughout life course required. This review will discuss current definitions strategies and impacting at both local national level.
