A high performance VoLTE traffic classification method using HTCondor

摘要: Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) is a VoIP-based multimedia service which provided using All-IP based LTE networks. VoLTE was first commercialized by Korean telcos in 2012, and now more are trying to adopt this technology. With the increased popularity, it inevitable have large traffic volume (possibly degrading quality) potential attacks reliability availability) near future. Therefore, order avoid such issues, we need perform thorough analysis on traffic. As step, propose classification method its distributed architecture. proposed relies Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) technique, severely suffers from processing time scalability issues. To overcome these further architecture for adopting high throughput computing framework — HTCondor. We performed set of experiments real-world traces captured commercial core network, shown that with architecture, can achieve up 23.869 Gbps almost 35 times faster than system without processing.
